Winter in St Ives with Leica Q2 ✨📷

Christmas in Cornwall might not seem very festive, but it was certainly a beautiful way to spend the holidays. A coastal adventure where we were extremely fortunate that, though it was indeed misty and slightly wet, it was filled with winter sun and fresh air. We stayed in a beautiful airbnb at the top of St Ives, in a small ancient hamlet named Trowan. In this very grainy, very questionable image below, you can see the estate we stayed on, it was actually from the first time I ever flew a drone! If you look close enough you can see my mum and I in the garden behind the gate, I was terrified of crashing or losing it so the settings and quality of the image were at the bottom of my priority list.

We walked from Trowan through some muddy fields and onto the South West Coast Path at Clodgy Point, taking in the views of Porthmeor Beach and the headland at St Ives. Taking a quick pitstop at Cintra Seafood Bar for a latte before meandering down Forestreet and having a nose in all the unique shops there. Harley, our beach obsessed little cocker poo had the time of his life zooming about the sand across the beaches of St Ives, a huge advantage of this wonderful little town is that it is extremely dog friendly, almost all shops and cafes allow you to bring your furry friend in with you!
